Sistahood
About the book
Sistahood: A Journal of Self-Discovery is an inspirational journal, narrated in conversation between two sisters, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Nicky Moore. Aimed at girls aged between 8 – 14 years, this journal provides a learning environment through the delivery of important messages, inspirations and interactions, while also helping the reader to feel comforted by the experiences of people who have gone through the same or similar problems.
By talking about their own experiences growing up, Natalie and Nicky show young girls how it’s possible to do anything you want to do – dream big, think positive and be yourself. The book provides pages for girls to write about their own experiences, exercises to show them how to achieve their dreams, and quizzes about self-confidence and friendship.
Full of colour photographs, quotes and inspirations on which to meditate, Sistahood is a journal of self-discovery to help girls as they begin the challenge of adolescence.

Reader reviews
“Through personal and occasionally embarrassing stories and photographs, Natalie and Nicky provide an honest and human connection with their younger fans, revealing a side to themselves that most celebrities would pay to stay buried deep within the vaults of their adolescence. ‘Sistahood’ teaches kids that no matter who you are, nobody is perfect, and that is perfectly OK.”
“I was truly surprised with this cute little book and how much it can help young girls stay young and be proud of not only themselves but encouraging to their pees too. Well done to Natalie and her sister Nicky. Recommend for any parents with young daughters.”
“A rare insight in the lives of sisters Natalie Bassingthwaighte & Nicky Moore. A very personal journal that gives the reader inspiration and the ability to reflect on your life and it’s wonderful treasures. Sistahood takes you on a journey of self discovery while you take a rare look behind Natalie & her family and what it means to be part of a sistahood with family or friends.”
